Doug LaMarche, Los Angeles based artist and transcendent man, has been a paradigm shifting creator for decades and offers a unique perspective on art and life at this crucial juncture we stand at, the Age of AI. What does technological advance mean for the creative practice of man when confronted with his own extinction.
Summan believes art can heal and has dedicated his life and work to proving it. He has scientifically proven that observing certain works of his changes brainwaves in viewers leading to states of mind where healing can take place.
As an early adopter of technology in his practice, La Marche has strong opinions about AI. This inspired us to build a language model for one of his sculptures so he could interview his own creation, Lirica Wilder about the future of art and AI.
‘Summan Man’ works across many mediums, creating paintings and sculptures often from found objects and 99 cent store items. He has a dedicated underground group of collectors of his art who are as inspired by Transcendent Man’s journey as we are.
